Through out the 51 years of doctor who all the doctors have faced Monsters/Aliens, there have been many such as The daleks who have been around since 1963 in there first seriel The daleks with the first incarnation of the Timelord (William Hartnell) and also the cybermen who had there first apperence in 1967 in the seriel the Tenth planet. the Ice warriors first appered in Doctor Who when they encounted the 2nd doctor (Patrick Troughton) in the serial the ice warriors that aired in 1967, they returned in 1969 for the serial the seads of death but that's not just that in 2012 they returned with the eleventh incarnation of the doctor in Cold war.
